The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on 2022 July 16 raised Alert Level 2 for Filipinos in Sri Lanka due to the security situation and the political crisis in Sri Lanka. But due to the improved security and political situation, In the latter part of August, several European countries, including France, Switzerland, the UK and Norway, sweden and Canada has relaxed their travel advisories on Sri Lanka. Still the Government of Philippines did not relax it alert level on Sri Lanka. I want to know the reason for that and when will be the travel restrictions will be relax?
