January 30, 2023 Dear Mariano Halog III, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated May 28, 2022 09:24:32 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Yes, a Fire Detection and Alarm System is required for residential areas with more than 12 rooms/compartments, even if its is only one storey in height. Apologies for the delay in answering your request. We have just activated our portal recently. Your right to request a review We regret to inform you that the FOI Portal does not cater to the frontline services of the Agency.
