Other physico-chemical parameters recommended for monitoring include unionized ammonia nitrogen, NH3-N (usually calculated from the Total Ammonia Nitrogen, Salinity, pH and temperature of Water), Nitrite, Nitrate, Phosphate, True Color and Sulfate. Total Iron should also be checked when selecting sites for aquaculture purposes.
