Hi BFAR team! I would like to request access to the following data that I will be using for research and development purposes:
1) Historical Water Quality Data between 2018-2023 of the inland fisheries in Taal, Batangas.
2) Regulatory Standards being used by BFAR for water quality parameters of the inland fisheries in the Philippines.
3) List of parameters or indicators that BFAR is using to determine the water quality for inland fisheries.
4) The top 5 most important parameters being used.

For questions 3 and 4:
The 5 most important parameters being monitored are water temperature, salinity, water pH, dissolved oxygen and turbidity. Other physico-chemical parameters recommended for monitoring include unionized ammonia nitrogen, NH3-N (usually calculated from the Total Ammonia Nitrogen, Salinity, pH and temperature of Water), Nitrite, Nitrate, Phosphate, True Color and Sulfate. Total Iron should also be checked when selecting sites for aquaculture purposes. Furthermore, additional tests such as Total Vibrio Count and Total Luminous Bacterial Count should be conducted for Shrimp Culture
