April 11, 2023 Dear Ms. Jamelee Buot, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Mar 31, 2023 10:24:08 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. You specifically requested for data on Water consumption of Davao City Jail in Ma-a Davao City. We are unable to provide the information you have requested due to an exception under section 5 of the Inventory of Exceptions or "Information, documents, or records known by reason of official capacity and are deemed as confidential, including those submitted or disclosed by entities to government agencies, tribunals, boards, or officers, in relation to the performance of their functions, or to inquiries or investigation conducted by them in the exercise of their administrative, regulatory or quasi-judicial powers." The reason why that exception applies to the data requested is due to the details with regards to its confidentiality and low shareability. We hope you are satisfied with the response to your FOI request. However, if you feel otherwise, you may request to review the response we have given by writing to DCWD's General Manager within 15 working days from the date when you received the letter response. We would suggest that you explain in detail why you are not pleased with the response you have received. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 working days from the date when we received your appeal. In the event that you are still not satisfied with the result of the review, you may appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011). Thank you. Respectfully, Ariel Noble FOI Decision Maker
