Multiple times a day we use public transport but we do not know if we are paying the right fare or not. Often times we are charged more than the usual fare. We are not even sure if the usual fare is right. And we are sometimes harassed by drivers and being dared to alight and get off and just try other UVs if we insist the usual fare. So please if this is a drive for freedom of information then make this information available to the public.
June 4, 2020 Dear James, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Mar 11, 2020 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for UV Express Fare Matrix. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance we would need for you to resubmit your request as we are still missing from you some vital information. Please be informed also that UV EXPRESS is P2.00 per kilometer fixed based on their route. EXAMPLE: Antipolo to Ayala route consist of 22.5 kms. and will multiplied to P2 (22.5kms. x P2.00 = P45.00). You have to pay the whole kilometer route and they are not the same with PUJ at wala po silang taripa. They are not allowed to pick up passengers along the way from point of origin to point of destination. Thank you!
