Dear Sir/Madam, I have read that a draft of the IRR for the Telecommuting Law was deliberated on March 21. In this light, I would like some information regarding the timeline for the approval, signing, and publishing of IRR for the Telecommuting Law. This will greatly help us prepare for the drafting of our policies in compliance with the law. Thank you.

March 28, 2019 Dear Gracious Galicia, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Mar 27, 2019 12:09:17 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your Request You asked for Update on the Implementing Rules and Regulations for the Telecommuting Law. The last on the series of deliberation on the IRR for Telecommuting Law was done last 21 March 2019. The Tripartite Industrial Peace Council has endorsed the document to Secretary Silvestre Bello III for signing. But before it is signed, the draft IRR has to be reviewed first by a panel of legal experts from DOLE. The IRR will become effective only, 15 days after its publication on a newspaper of general circulation. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to . Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
