Hi! I would like to get an update regarding the construction status of Partido Airport. What is its percentage of completion and when is it expected to be completed? What are the details of the project -- construction price, etc?

September 27, 2018 Dear Micah Milante, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Sep 24, 2018 04:47:12 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. You asked for Update on Partido Airport in Bicol. Your FOI request is approved. Per our Air Planning Transport Division, the construction of Partido Airport is not one of the priority projects of DOTr as the department is prioritizing the re-orientation and upgrading of airport facilities of Naga Airport in Pili, Camarines Sur. According to them, the feasibility study for Partido Airport is already completed in 2014 but we cannot give you a copy due to proprietary rights issue. Also, there is an existing Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the LGU for the site acquisition of the planned Partido Airport. If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011). Thank you.
