In order for us to work further on your request, you need to initially seek endorsement from the UP Manila Research and Ethics Board prior to the approval of the request. It can be accessed online through the UPMREB website (reb.upm.edu.ph) . There are forms to be filled up and instructions are given. Moreover, researchers need to register via online to the Research Grants Administration Office (RGAO). Once you have the clearance, the PGH Expanded Hospital Research Office (EHRO) will issue a permit for the researcher to proceed. Jul 27, 2023 Dear Philip, I refer to my letter of Nov 08, 2021 about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for UP-Philippine General Hospital. In particular, I had requested specific information for you to clarify upon in order for us to proceed with the request. As we have not received a reply within the 60-day working period since the letter requesting for clarification was sent out, we regret to inform you that this request will be closed as of Jan 31, 2022. You may wish to submit a new request describing the specific information you are looking for, and we will be able to consider it under the guidelines as stated in Executive Order No. 2.
