Hello, our late AFP Retired grandfather died last Dec 18, 2019. Ever since, the transfer of pension to his legal spouse/beneficiary was already approved and processed but account was not yet opened. We are already at the stage of account opening already. 

Now, my grandfather’s legal spouse and beneficiary just recently died. Can the surviving family (son & daughter) still claim the said pension during the period she was still alive?
