You mentioned:
"We want to know, in detail, the purpose of this request. In particular, it would be helpful to know how these data will be used on your research."
PURPOSE OF THIS RESEARCH
Purpose of this request is to use open data to generate insights/solutions for Metro Manila's issues, particularly how to use this portal and Open Data to encourage citizen involvement.
HOW THIS DATA WILL BE USED
There are many interesting applications of having the full Twitter timeline. For your information, the public Twitter API only allows me to go back 7 days. Having the full Twitter timeline (which is in the public domain) should allow some interesting data sources:
1. Traffic view images that have been published from 2012 to 2017 can be downloaded and then mined for insights (a traffic early warning system? Identifying how traffic "grows" along EDSA? Counting car volume algorithmically? Coding vs non-coding days? Planning for holidays?)
2. Accident data as they are reported and resolved in the Tweets
3. Other textual information in the MMDA replies that can be used to generate frequently asked questions

By the way, I am noting here that I have already replied, so the request is removed from ON HOLD status and there should only be an additional 4 hours to the deadline of Feb 05.
Thank you.
