In particular, it would be helpful to know your specific/exact purpose in requesting the data regarding Cagayan de Oro City because you only stated "R&D". Hi,
We requested the following information on the 2nd December;
For Cagayan de Oro.
1. Tourism Statistics (monthly data, figures for the past 3 years)
2. List of the following:
- Hotel / inn and locations
- Average hotel occupancy rates
- Average room rates
- Average number of available rooms
- Main tourism drivers of the city.
You then asked us to know our specific/exact purpose for our requesting the data to which, on the 3rd of December, we replied;
"Hi, we are considering opening a hotel in Cagayan De Oro and the information requested would be very useful to our Research and then our decision whether or not to Develop a Hotel. I hope that is OK, Thank you, Respectfully."
Unfortunately, we have not heard from you since. We have a very large site, have produced a business plan for the Hotel, Wellness Center & Spa based around Hilot and employing many people from Northern Mindanao etc.
Could you please update us on the progress of this request as the information would be very very useful to us?

We apologize for this delay but have applied for an extension so we could work further on your request. We hope to be able to send you a response on or before Jan 20, 2020 03:36:31 PM.

Response to Request
Your FOI request is approved. I enclose a copy of the information you requested.
Likewise, please be informed that the attached data were the only information that the DOT Region X was able to provide.
You may find the list of DOT-accredited establishments at www.tourism.gov.ph.
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Sec. Bernadette Romulo-Puyat at 351 Sen. Gil Puyat Ave., Makati City. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
