Dear DOST-FNRI, Good day! May I request total sugar intake of Filipinos from 2018-2019 Expanded National Nutrition Survey? For age groups: School age children: 6-9 yo, 10-12yo Adolescents: 13-15yo, 16-18yo Adults: 19-29yo, 30-49yo, 50-59 yo The information will be used in supporting the innovation and renovation of products and communication. October 5, 2022 Dear Ivy Sicat, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Oct 04, 2022 11:46:11 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. You asked for Total sugar intake of Filipinos. Your FOI request is approved. Enclosed is a copy of the information you requested. Since you mentioned "total sugar", we just assumed this refers to the sugar and syrup intake ONLY of the 3 identified groups. Kindly see attached data disaggregated by specific age as per request. If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Secretary Renato U. Solidum. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request. If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011). Thank you.
