THE ADMINISTRATOR
Freedom of Information Philippines
Dear Sir/Madam:
I am Edgilyn Alcasid, a graduate student from the College of Mass Communication at the University of the Philippines Diliman, currently conducting my master's degree thesis.
I am writing to respectfully ask for an updated total number of enrolled junior high school students per district in Laguna for the current school year.
The data will be used as part of my thesis titled, “Technoscience in Digital Games’ Effect on Filipino Junior High School Students’ Interest in Science”. The research aims to aid in the country’s body of knowledge in science communication by identifying how commercial digital games can be a platform to cultivate students’ interest in science through technoscience (technology + science) content. The conduct of the study is also relevant to further explore other means of learning today brought about by the pandemic.
Rest assured that information obtained will be used for academic purposes only.
Thank you.
Respectfully yours,
Edgilyn Alcasid
