Hello! My group and I from the Ateneo de Manila University are requesting for data in regard to the following:
1. MRT 3 Daily and Monthly Ridership for the year 2018 (in .xlsx format)
2. Total average of commuters for LRT lines 1 and 2 per station per month for 2017-2018. We wish to procure data similar to the one attached, but in .xlsx format.

Dear June Pauline Lui,
I refer to my letter of Jul 05, 2019 09:07:26 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Total Monthly Average of Commuters for LRT lines 1 and 2 and MRT 3.
The DOTr Automated Fare Collection System Program is requesting you to please provide a comprehensive explanation of the purpose of your request and to what extent you will use the data to be requested as part of the office protocol.
Also, please take note that per memorandum released by our Legal Affairs Office last 24 August 2018, any person who request information or documents in DOTr via the eFOI portal should "reasonably describe the information requested, and the reason for, or purpose of, the request for information." This also in accordance to E.O No. 2, s. 2016.
During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Oct 03, 2019 04:59:03 AM, your request will be closed.
We hope to hear from you at the soonest possible time.

Dear June Pauline,
I refer to my letter of Jul 11, 2019 about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Total Monthly Average of Commuters for LRT lines 1 and 2 and MRT 3. In particular, I had requested specific information for you to clarify upon in order for us to proceed with the request.
As we have not received a reply within the 60-day working period since the letter requesting for clarification was sent out, we regret to inform you that this request will be closed as of Oct 03, 2019.
You may wish to submit a new request describing the specific information you are looking for, and we will be able to consider it under the guidelines as stated in Executive Order No. 2.
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to or visiting our central office. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
