We wish to ask for your much-needed advise regarding the offering of J1 “Cultural Exchange” option to our graduating college students. We have seen many private and public HEIs engaging on this with third-party agencies. They let their students attend orientations that offer them the choice to explore the possibility of having internship (sometimes named as cultural exchange) to private businesses abroad after their graduation. May we know if this scheme is a safe one especially on the part of our students and their parents? Thank you.
