Good day! I would like to know my TIN number and also the process for getting an ID once I know my number and what RDO my TIN was registered to by my previous employer. Thank you!
January 20, 2023 Dear Mr. Faustino: Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Jan 20, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for TIN Number and RDO verification request. Response to your request After careful consideration, we resolve to deny your request due to the following reasons: The request falls outside the scope of the FOI program (i.e. the request is a front-line/government service of the agency, etc.); and TIN and Other Relevant Personal Information is considered a piece of Sensitive Personal Information that is bounded by the Data Privacy Act of 2012, as such, it is not advisable to be uploaded in the FOI Portal because this is a public website. In relation to this, you may do the following: 1.) Know your TIN - TIN Inquiry and/or Validation are now available through Chatbot-Revie which can be accessed thru the BIR Website (www.bir.gov.ph). 2.) TIN ID Card - If you already have a TIN, you my get your TIN Card at the Revenue District Office (RDO) that issued your TIN (where you are registered). Bring at least two (2) valid IDs as proof of your identity. Thank you. Respectfully, FOI Receiving Officer Public Information and Education Division
