Good day, Mr. Agravante!
In response to your FOI request with tracking number #TIEZA-086954388719 regarding the projects of TIEZA for Health and Wellness Tourism, please be informed of the following:
1. In 2012, the TIEZA Board of Directors approved the procurement of 4 units of Hyperbaric Chamber System and were deployed to key dive destinations in Batangas, Palawan, Cebu, and Bohol province.
2. Last 10 Oct 2018, the TIEZA Board of Directors approved the procurement of additional 3 units of Hyperbaric Chamber System to be stationed in Zamboanga, Mindoro, and Siargao.
3. TIEZA is also committed to provide assistance in terms of construction of infrastructure facilities to support the future Medical Tourism projects of the Department of Tourism and the Department of Health.
