I'm Jefferson S. Lorenzo from Bulacan State University, a 4th year student taking up Bachelor in Landscape Architecture and in partial fulfillment for my subject (LA 411/413 D) LA Design 7; Landscape Design Research, would like to gather the needed data(s) about my topic entitled. TERRA INCOGNITA; Perceiving valor stories of Filipino military soldier, through the virtue of Commemorative Park. That is essential to the preparation in my research purposes. I refer to your letter of Oct 02, 2017 08:32:07 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for The statistical information on the condition of the Filipino military soldier.
We have received your request for information about the personnel of the AFP. To allow us to properly process the request, we would like to ask for clarifications.
In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. Firstly, kindly specify the scope of the data you are requesting. in particular, please specify the year(s) covered in your request, as well as the category of the military personnel you are interested to study (active, retired discharged, etc.). Secondly, please include the specific physical and mental health problems of the soldiers you intend to study and compare.
We would also like to request for a letter of authorization from your College Dean endorsing your research in order to proceed with the request.
Please also note in advance that some information you require may be confidential in nature and cannot be disclosed due to national security concerns.

I refer to my letter of Oct 05, 2017 about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for The statistical information on the condition of the Filipino military soldier. In particular, I had requested specific information for you to clarify upon in order for us to proceed with the request.
As we have not received a reply within the 60-day working period since the letter requesting for clarification was sent out, we regret to inform you that this request will be closed as of Dec 28, 2017.
You may wish to submit a new request describing the specific information you are looking for, and we will be able to consider it under the guidelines as stated in Executive Order No. 2.
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to or visiting our central office.
