Greetings!
Thank you for your request dated Jan 29, 2019 04:54:54 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.
Your Request
You requested for records of all sexual offenses, including the rate of convictions, reported to the police in Pampanga between the period of January 2009 to January 2019.
Response to Request
Your FOI request is approved.
The term sexual offenses include the crimes of rape, sexual assault, prostitution, trafficking, and other forms of sexual violence and abuse.
After undertaking the necessary consultation with the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT), this Department, the undersigned wishes to inform you that there are One Hundred Eighty-Seven (187) cases of trafficking in persons reported in Pampanga from January 2009 to January 2019.
Meanwhile, the other records requested are unavailable at our Office and the procurement thereof will require action beyond our mandate. Considering this, we have coordinated with the Office of the Regional Prosecutors, Region III and referred your request for information.
You may contact Mr. Romar Arciga, FOI Receiving Officer, Office of the Regional Prosecutors, Region III, at (045) 963-6817 or 0922 466 9301 as regards the records.
Your right to request a review
