Hello! I would like to request for information regarding the numbers of graduates of SHS Curriculum for the past 3 years in the Municipality of San Fabian, Pangasinan.

Good day! This is Maureen Jill Beltran, 21 years old, a Filipino, currently residing at #192 Sitio Pasong Palanas, Brgy. San Juan, Antipolo City, studying BS Architecture at Technological Institute of the Philippines – Quezon City, would like to formally request an in-depth data about the numbers of students who graduated in Senior High School from 2015-2018 in the municipality of San Fabian, Pangasinan. The data that I will need are about the numbers of students who graduated per academic strand and if it’s possible to cluster them according to the barangay they studied will be helpful. BALAI DUNONG: A State-College in the Municipality of San Fabian, Creating an Avenue for Learning Higher Education Through Class Architecture and Sustainable Approach Location: Brgy. Cayanga San Fabian, Pangasinan 1.1 The Project Education is a key for attaining sustainability. The very reason that nations of the world are focused on educating its people is because government believes that education is the ladder of every individual success and as well as the success of the nation as a whole. The proposed project will be located in Brgy. Cayanga, San Fabian, Pangasinan. It is located 226.2 km away from Manila approximately 5 hours of travel time. The municipality of San Fabian with high literacy rate of 99.2% of its population is a good starting point to produce and to develop more skilled and well-trained professionals that will help increase the lack of researchers, innovators and solutions providers that the country really needs. As of today, there is no existing tertiary-level institution in the municipality of San Fabian. Align with the municipality’s goals and objectives with their education sector – “to sustain high quality education from elementary, secondary to tertiary education” – a proposed state-college that will adequately provide needed factors to elevate the quality of education via school services and on-demand facilities specifically built to meet said goals and objectives. The proposal will improve the quality of education of future professionals by providing them modern technologies and by giving them advance techniques, promoting outcome-based education through hands-on studies, and giving convenience to students for they do not need to travel far to neighboring municipalities or provinces, or in Metro Manila just to study. This will also open doors for opportunities for the present and future generation by igniting the drive in pursuing higher level of education. The proposed project will not only attract people of its service area but also Filipinos and foreign students in general who wants to master in agricultural education since the proposed project will specialize in agriculture and aquaculture. The proposed project will offer technical applications for it will give them “face-to-face” experience having an advantage of possessing an actual land and water on-site facilities for their research and studies. People of its service region and the whole country will benefit to this project as research and development programs will be created by this institution. Facilities in the proposed project will help them develop techniques to cope up with the continuous effect of climate change that is affecting the numbers of production and quality of products being produce. 1.2 Problem Statement The municipality has no tertiary level institution in the area. Graduate senior high school students have no other option but to travel from their municipality to other town, other provinces, or in Metro Manila, just for them to be able to take the program they want. • What kind of unusual catering of students those are undertaken within this project? • What will be the benefits of the residents of San Fabian through this kind of project? • Will they benefit in this kind of project? • Will it boost the economy due to high educated students of this project? 1.3 Project Objectives Due to the problem concerning tertiary level facilities, these are the objectives of the proposal: a. The project will be implemented to create an educational training ground to develop the students’ potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success, provided with necessary curriculum of education accordingly to the demand and to the specialization of the state-college b. Increase the job opportunity for unemployed graduates of needed industry professions c. Set as an archetype for the municipality as an appropriate educational facility for tertiary level education, promoting sustainable design and creating a sense of place d. Research facility will be available to study the unceasing effect of the climate change in the country and globally in the production of agro and aqua products and encourage innovations and push for continuous finding of solutions 1.4 The Client Municipality of San Fabian Local Government Unit The Municipality’s mission is: “to uplift the quality of life of every constituent in the area by providing their basic needs, maintaining the quality of life of its environment and ensuring a just and humane society through committed public service, secure and empowered citizenry enjoying the fruits of sustainable development by 2020”. The Municipality’s vision is: “by year 2020 San Fabian shall emerge as an agro-industrial and tourism-oriented city of self-reliant and good centered people, with equal social, economic and political opportunities, led by proactive, pro-people development oriented leaders, in an atmosphere of peace, justice and progress.” 1.5 Project Scope and Limitations The study focuses on the vital role of tertiary level school to the community. With the overall design, space programming, site development, and application of innovative and sustainable design will determine the success and impact of the people. The study will create a community to elevate the lives of people benefited in this study. The proposed state-college is being proposed according to its goals and objectives to provide a higher level of education facilities. This proposal covers the following: • This study covers on how to design a state-college/tertiary level/higher education facility • Study and Research on the desirable area and related to the proposed project. Limitations: • This study considers the structural analysis but is limited to the structural computation and detailing of the structure. 1.6 Design Process Input: Observation on current situation of the Municipality of San Fabian; data gathering in the Municipal Hall and in the municipality; enumerate problems; site evaluation; initial ideas for the project Process: Identifying possible solution; research of some related projects; make Initial Space development; consultation and Coordination with the people involved; assessment and analysis of the acquired data; formulation of hypothesis and solution revisions Output: Application of the hypothesis and solution; derivation of conclusion and recommendation; implementation and application of methods acquired
