5 May 2021 Dear Jannah Santos, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated 23 April 2020 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You requested information on: (1) Reported cases of VAWC since the start of Covid-19 from February 15, 2020- April 20, 2021 in Dasmarinas, Cavite, and (2) What are the commonly reported type of VAWC cases during the Pandemic? Response to your request Unfortunately, the DSWD does not have the information you need. Thus, we are constrained to deny your request. It is the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) that may have the data you require. The PCW is the government agency that has the function to act as a clearing house and data base for information relating to women. Hence, you may wish to direct your request to the PCW by submitting a request to the PCW via this portal. You may also contact the PCW by telephone at (632) 8735-1654 and 8736-5249. Furthermore, since you are asking data specific to Dasmarinas, Cavite, the LGU of Dasmarinas may also have the data you wish to obtain. Therefore, you may also direct your request to the LGU of Dasmarinas, Cavite. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Secretary ROLANDO JOSELITO D.
