Dear Teofilo Basubas, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated May 12, 2022 04:35:16 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your Request You asked for the number of Online Lending Apps (OLA) victims in the Philippines from 2020-2022 Response to Request Your FOI request is approved. The National Privacy Commission through its Complaints and Investigation Division has received 495 cases from January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2022 relating to Online Lending Apps (OLA). Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Privacy Commissioner and Chairman John Henry Du Naga at [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date you received this letter.
