Dear DepEd, I am a bonafide 5th year student of Far Eastern University - Institute of Architecture and Fine Arts and I need information regarding: 1. Junior high school graduates in Metro Manila 2. Grade school high school graduates in Metro Manila 3. Results of NCAE 2018 or 2019 for Metro Manila in English subject These information will be used solely for my Architectural Thesis Proposal entitled: "UTOPIA Literary Complex: Institute and Studios for Language and Literature". Further assistance will be very much appreciated.

ABSTRACT A literary house is where people houses activities like book signings, writing competitions, book fairs, film screening, art competitions and exhibits, readings, workshops and seminars. The people who will mainly benefit from this project are our very own and aspiring writers, readers, translators, critics, playwrights, illustrators, scholars, activists, and the inquisitive to gather and debate, read, lecture, engage with each other, discuss and share their ideas. As for the rest, they are always welcome to attend or enrol to scheduled lectures where they can train their speaking, writing and reading abilities or even use it as a study place, they can either use the library or even reserve a small room ahead of time. They can also use this place to do activities related to literature if they can’t do so in their homes. It’s a place where people can make new friends and get out of their comfort zones through teaching and learning. Through personal research and experience, I have discovered that most people are not cut out to hang out in outdoor parks due to safety and pollution, and I have read countless complaints about published wattpad books having poor grammar and editing, and one of the reasons is the poor foundation in the author’s writing and the editorial board’s editing and it’s due to lack of training and knowledge, then, as future architect, this is one of the solutions I can offer: a place where people can interact face-to-face and a place where everyone can improve their writing, reading and speech abilities. From this, people will be able to gain back their confidence in the way they express themselves and aspiring authors will have the backbone to achieve excellency, and even gain connections with other people through their time learning and socializing within the literary house.
