This is to follow up my request to BIR on information regarding the implementation of the specifics of availing tax incentives for PWD employees under Rule VI(2) of RA 10524 or “An Act Expanding the Positions Reserved for Persons with Disability, Amending for the Purpose of RA 7277, as amended, otherwise known as the Magna Carta for Persons with Disability”.

Specifically, this is my request:

"The number of companies who have availed the tax incentives for hiring persons with disability,  as stated in R.A. 7277 and amended by R.A. 10524, since 1992, the year R.A. 7277 was signed into law."

I'll greatly appreciate a reply on this.

I refer to my letter of Oct 29, 2019 11:19:37 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for The number of companies who have availed the tax incentives for hiring PWDs.

In order for us to work further on your request which we don't have right now, we need more information from you regarding your query. In particular, it would be helpful to know the following:. Are you asking for both government (CSC has this data not BIR) and private and lastly what is the specific purpose of your request?

Reply to your request:

Per validation with the concerned BIR Offices: Chief, Research and Statistics Division and the Chief, Audit Info Tax Exemption & Incentives Division today BIR does not have the said information you requested.

You may however, as mentioned over the telephone that this statistics may be available for government thru the Civil Service Commission thru the following emails: [email protected] and [email protected].
