Dear Sir/Madam,
I would like to request the number of Chinese tourists entering Philippines from 2019 up to May 2022. If there is a monthly data, that would be great. If none, a yearly data will suffice.
This information will greatly aid me to move forward in my research.
Thank you for your continued public service in spite of the ongoing pandemic.
Best regards,
F. Santiago

RE: #DOT-530898079241 Clarification
Dear Director Lara Estevez-Austria,
I greatly appreciate your time in reading my request. As for the clarification you are requesting, I am conducting this research as a private citizen and as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. However, I am not representing Jehovah's Witnesses in this inquiry as it is a personal request.
As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I strive to share the Bible's message of hope to all nations, tribes and languages. The website, www.jw.org, is the most widely translated website in the world and includes Chinese Mandarin and a number of other Chinese dialects. I am a Mandarin Chinese speaker, and I studied the language for the purpose of sharing the Bible's message in their native tongue. For this reason, I would like to know if pursuing this goal will be worth my time and effort in the coming months. Given the prevailing pandemic, I would like to know if there are still many Chinese tourists coming in and out of the country.
I hope my reply is satisfactory and has given you a clear idea of my reason for this request. I do hope for your favorable reply.
Sincerely,
Faye Santiago
