March 27, 2021 Dear Monica Tila-on, Thank you for your request dated Mar 22, 2021 08:20:32 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. You asked for The number of Child Labour in Region 8 and the whole country. As per the Management Information of DOLE BWC, the following were the data that were gathered this last 4 years. a) National Data: 2017-59 2018-0 2019-19 2020-4 b) Region 8: 0 for the last four years (2017 to 2020) Please be guided that the results were based only on the inspected establishments and is NOT the whole picture of the National and Local (Region 8) landscape.
