To whom it may concern,
Good Evening!
We're 4th-year college students currently doing our research project on tactile literacy for visually impaired children. We would like to request data on blind and visually impaired children enrolled under DepEd's SPED Program from 2015-2022 with an age range if it's allowed. We believe that this information will be extremely beneficial to our research.
Thank you so much.

To whom it may concern,
Hello, we are 4th-year students working on a project entitled Literacy Enhancement: Assisting Visually Impaired Children Through Tactile Storybooks in partial fulfillment of the Bachelor of Multimedia Arts in Graphic Design for Capstone Project 1 course this Second Semester of A.Y. 2022-2023. In this regard, my team and I are requesting the number of blind and visually impaired children enrolled in the Department of Education's SPED program from 2015 to 2022. And, if possible, we would like to request additional information about the above data, such as the following: (1) the age range of the children, (2) the number of students per region, and (3) the number of Braille-trained teachers in the program.
Through this data, our research will be able to provide more foundational information on how many blind and visually impaired children were and are currently enrolled in the program. As well as a better understanding of the program's current student-teacher ratio, and whether or not this has an impact on the skill progression of visually impaired children. We hope to create a tactile storybook to assist children in improving their literacy skills at the end of our project. And we believe that having this information will enable us to create more opportunities and advocate for more learning materials to help educators and students even more.
We are confident that your office recognizes and supports improving access to education for disabled children. We also hope that you can help students like us in achieving our goal of developing inclusive learning materials so that no child will be left behind in their education.
Thank you for your time and kind consideration, and we are hoping for a favorable response.
Respectfully,
Eline Andrea Gonzaga
