Response to Request Please be informed that not all operating businesses may have been registered with DTI. Similarly, please note that we cannot identify if a business name is classified as small, medium or large business due to reason that we don't require the capitalization in the registration of business name. In addition, kindly be advised that a Business Name Registration is NOT a license to engage in any kind of business and that the business, regardless of its nature, needs to be registered with the Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office where the business is located (business address). In this context, we suggest that you contact the Local Government Unit - Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) of the City of Manila for proper assistance.
