Good day!
I wish to request the monthly average or the total number of domestic and foreign tourist arrivals in the province of Albay during the peak season of the months "March to June and November to December" in the year 2019-2023.
The purpose of this request of information will be used for my (Ranieli S. Imperial) architectural research data gathering procedure in order to find the number of the needed survey respondents, entitled "PAHINGALÒ: A SUSTAINABLE ECO-FRIENDLY HOSTEL IN BAÑAG, DARAGA ALBAY. This research will explore the hostel industry located in Bañag, Daraga Albay, focusing on its current state and potential for growth, examining the existing hostels in the region, including their facilities and services. The researcher promotes sustainability and an eco-friendly design wherein not only it provides a comfortable and enjoyable experience for guests but also it prioritizes the concept of sustainability, environmental responsibility, and social responsibility in its design, operation, and management.

Response to Request
Your FOI request is approved.
We have enclosed a copy of the report on the number of domestic and foreign tourists in Albay for 2023 (3Q).
Please note that we can only provide some of the information you have requested as the data for the last quarter of 2023 is still being collected from the concerned LGUs. We will update this response once the data is submitted by DOT Region 5.
Your right to request a review
