REQUEST LETTER
Salutation and Greetings!
We, fourth year students of Polytechnic University of the Philippines pursuing a degree of Bachelor of Science in Sociology, are currently enrolled in SOCI 4023: Thesis Writing. In partial fulfillment of the requirements in the said subject, we will be undertaking a research entitled Employment or Pursuit of Tertiary Education among Senior High School Graduates of the academic year of 2017-2018 under the TVL( Technical Vocational Livelihood) and Academic track in the NCR Region. The data requested is in line with the students' thesis. The study desires to give result on the effectiveness of the curriculum in bridging the educational system to employment. It is to examine the influence of the students’ (1) track and strand, (2) sex, (3) socio economic status and (4) region , as variables affecting their outcome of employment.
Along with this, we are writing to request for statistical data from your good office on the employment of Senior High School Graduates from the academic year of 2017-2018 from the Technical Vocational Livelihood track in the NCR Region. We will follow the existing rules and regulations that are provided by the institution upon receiving approval.

I refer to my letter of Dec 11, 2018 about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for The Employment of Senior High School Graduates from Public Schools. In particular, I had requested specific information for you to clarify upon in order for us to proceed with the request.
As we have not received a reply within the 60-day working period since the letter requesting for clarification was sent out, we regret to inform you that this request will be closed as of Mar 05, 2019.
You may wish to submit a new request describing the specific information you are looking for, and we will be able to consider it under the guidelines as stated in Executive Order No. 2.
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to or visiting our central office. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
