This study aimed to create a study for the first of the four-step model of travel demand forecasting- that is trip generation. Valenzuela City, 119th largest city in the country located at about 14 kilometers (8.7 mi) north of the capital city of Manila. Categorized under Republic Act Nos. 7160 and 8526 as a highly urbanized, first-class city based on income classification and number of population. Composed of 33 barangays or zones, is the study area considered. Household Interview Surveys is to be conducted by the researchers and the results will be encoded. Regression analysis and trip rate method will be the modelling techniques to be used. For the regression analysis, seven (7) independent and two (2) dependent variables (i.e., trips attracted, and trips produced) are considered. Six (6) trip purposes. For the trip rate method, cross-classification tables are made for each purpose. Parking studies are important matter in designing a transportation plan. There are two main problems in this matter, first, difficulty of finding a parking and the traffic when finding a parking is also a big problem for both the transportation engineer and the owner of the business. First, inventory of existing parking facilities; Second, the researcher will collect data for the parking statistics and calculate with the method of Dr. Matthew (2014); Lastly, the researcher will use the methods of Garber and Hoel (2014) for finding the demand and supply in parking.
