Our thesis project is entitled “Seismic vulnerability assessment of New Quirino Bridge beside Banaoang Bridge using Capacity – Spectrum Method”.We are asking your permission to study the new quirino bridge that will be of importance in the structural retrofitting in the future. In line with this, may we also ask the following:
1) a copy of the maiden architectural and structural plans of the basilica
2) if there’s any retrofitting from the past, the recent architectural and structural plans
3) geotechnical investigation of the foundation

The undersigned are senior civil engineering students from Manuel L. Quezon University, Diliman Campus. We are currently enrolled in our CE Project Study and are required to defend our thesis proposal by the last week of November. Our thesis project is entitled “Seismic vulnerability assessment of New Quirino Bridge beside Banaoang Brisge using Capacity – Spectrum Method”.
We are asking your permission to study the New Quirino Bridge that will be of importance in the structural retrofitting in the future. In line with this, may we also ask the following:
1) a copy of the maiden architectural and structural plans of the New Quirino Bridge
2) if there’s any retrofitting from the past, the recent architectural and structural plans
3) geotechnical investigation of the foundation
It is also with utmost care in handling the data gathered and the results that will be the output of our research. We will also submit and copy of our thesis after defending successfully in the presence of the panel of examiners and adviser; thus, confirming the veracity of the results.
