Good day!
I am Mariette Joyz Lee, a 5th year BS Civil Engineering Student at Adamson University. We are currently in our thesis undergraduate study and are required to defend our thesis proposal by the last week of November. Our thesis project is entitled “Seismic Vulnerability Assessment of a bridge near West Valley Fault using Fragility Curves”. We are asking your permission to study the Jones Bridge that will be of importance in the structural retrofitting in the future.

In line with this, may we also ask the following:
1) A copy of the maiden architectural and structural plans of the Jones Bridge
2) If there’s any retrofitting from the past, the recent architectural and structural plans
3) Geotechnical investigation of the foundation
It is also with utmost care in handling the data gathered and the results that will be the output of our research. We will also submit a copy of our thesis after defending it successfully in the presence of the panel of examiners and adviser; thus, confirming the veracity of the results.
