Home Development Mutual Fund/Pag-IBIG Fund(HDMF)

Hi! I would like to directly ask the status of Stonewell Mahogany Homes. This is in line with the unit we have paid equity for and is not turned over yet after almost 3 years already. Is there any problem with Pag IBIG loans accreditation and approval? The information we are getting from them states that PagIBIG is not providing approval still after they have provided all the required documents.
Any information and enlightenment will be much appreciated as worked really hard for the money we paid for the equity.

This refers to your eFOI request received on 17 January 2023 sent via the eFOI portal of the Home Development Mutual Fund (Fund) wherein you inquired on the status of Stonewell Mahogany Homes' (SMH) accreditation. According to you, you own a unit with SMH that you paid equity for but is not turned over yet after almost 3 years.

Kindly be informed that Section 3 of Executive Order No. 2, series of 2016 (Executive Order) grants every Filipino citizen the right to access information, official records, public records and to documents and papers pertaining to official acts, transactions, or decisions, as well as to government research data used as basis for policy development. 

In accordance with the aforementioned Executive Order, the Pag-IBIG Fund People’s Freedom of Information Manual (Manual) also states that “Information for Disclosure” includes: information promoting the awareness and understanding of policies, programs, activities, rules or regulations affecting the public, government agencies, and the community and economy (Section 2 of the Manual). 

Considering that you did not request for any information, official records, public records and documents and papers pertaining to official acts, transactions or decisions, as well as to government research data used as basis for policy development, we are constrained to deny your request.
