November 29, 2021 Dear Arlene, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Nov 26, 2021 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for stolen celphone. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. Pursuant to Section 3 of Executive Order (E.O.) No. 2, s. 2016, the right of access to information under FOI Process pertains to information, official records, public records and to documents and papers pertaining to official acts, transactions or decisions, as well as to government research data used as basis for policy development. Further, Section 1(a) of the said E.O. defines “information” as any records, documents, papers, reports, letters, contracts, minutes and transcripts of official meetings, maps, books, photographs, data, research materials, films, sound and video recording, magnetic or other tapes, electronic data, computer stored data, any other like or similar data or materials recorded, stored or archived in whatever format, whether offline or online, which are made, received, or kept in or under the control and custody of any government office pursuant to law, executive order, and rules and regulations or in connection with the performance or transaction of official business by any government office. It bears stressing that FOI requests under E.O. No. 2, s. 2016 are requests for information in the form of documents, papers, records or reports under the government agency’s control and custody. We note however, that the requested information does not mention any specific document that is kept in or under the control of the GCG. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
