Good day Department of Transportation! May I inquire about the status of the land acquisition for the MRT-7 Depot in San Jose Del Monte, Bulacan? The last update I've heard was the hearing dated last August 29, 2019. Are there any latest updates regarding the status?

Hi FOI Officer, I work in the technology industry and my question/concern is for clarification of news reports. The information requested will be used for public awareness. As per an article that was published June 12, 2019, it is stated, "Mr. Ang added that they have already resolved the train depot issue in a Bulacan court. To recall, the company’s acquisition of a 33-hectare property in Bulacan for the train depot was earlier disrupted due to expropriation issues." https://www.bworldonline.com/mrt-7-completion-to-be-delayed-to-2022/ However, as per this another FOI request, it is stated "Per the Project Management Office of MRT-7, please be informed that the status of the acquisition for the MRT7 Depot in SJDM is still under expropriation proceeding and the next hearing will be on 29 August 2019." https://www.foi.gov.ph/requests/aglzfmVmb2ktcGhyHgsSB0NvbnRlbnQiEURPVHItODEwMjAyNjgxNjQ5DA To summarize: June 12, 2019 - Ramong Ang, the CEO of San Miguel Corp. stated that the train depot issue was already resolved. June 17, 2019 - DOTR FOI Officer stated that the depot is still under expropriation proceeding and the next hearing will be on 29 August 2019. Can you please provide the latest status about the construction of the depot?
