Hi! I'm working on a thesis that aims to create a play space for Children with Disabilities. I would like to get the number of elementary SPED students for SY 2014-15 up to present, based on types of disability per region & division.
Project Description:
The proposed project will provide Children with Disabilities and their families a space for community and therapy through play. It will accommodate spaces for the different categories, types, and stages of play; where community play is facilitated by service providers or therapists with the aid of smart technology in architecture.

Good day.
I am Bernadette Calica, a 5th year undergraduate student in the University of the Philippines College of Architecture. I am currently working on my Architectural thesis entitled Smart Community Playscape in Manila For The Therapy of Children With Disabilities. In line with this, I would like to request for the number of elementary SPED students for School Years 2014-2015 up to present, based on types of disability per region and division. The said data would greatly help in producing my thesis book and proposed Architectural Design of the Smart Community Playscape.
Below is an abstract of my proposed project:
Developmental and community participation are important for the growth of Children with Disabilities. However, they are surrounded by social stigma, which also poses various barriers to their participation in play. The Smart Community Playscape in Manila will provide Children with Disabilities and their families a space for community and therapy through play. It will accommodate spaces for the different categories, types, and stages of play; where community play is facilitated by service providers or therapists with the aid of smart technology in architecture. The playscape makes use of the Internet of Things to process the conditions and contexts of the Children with Disabilities to nurture a play environment that will best serve their needs.
I am looking forward to your response.
Thank you very much.
Respectfully,
Bernadette Calica

Good morning!
I was informed that my concern was already forwarded to PS-EMISD and BLD. Based on the 15-working day processing time for FOIs, I should receive the data by tomorrow, Nov. 4. I'd like to know if that would still be possible or should I expect a different date? My deadline for the thesis proposal is also very soon, so I was hoping to have this processed soon.
Thanks for all the help!
