26 July 2018 Dear Ms. Anna Pauline Hernando, You requested for latest statistical data on the following “(i) children/youth with mental disability by type of disability, age, sex and region, (ii) children/youth with mental disability diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Depression, and (iii) violence against disabled children/youth by type of violence, age, sex and region.” Unfortunately, the DSWD does not have the information you need. Thus, we are constrained to deny your request. Presidential Decree 1509, as amended, mandates the National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA) to formulate policies and coordinate the activities of all agencies, whether public or private, concerning disability issues and concerns.
