Dear Mr. Bacor,
This refers to your query on whether the barangay personnel are still entitled to additional incentives such as the Productivity Enhancement Incentive (PEI) since said personnel were already given the mid-year and year-end bonuses and cash gifts.
May we highlight that the PEI is distinct from the mid-year and year-end bonuses and cash gift. Corollary, the President has authorized the establishment and grant of a Yuletide Social Assistance Program (YSAP) for all barangay officials and functionaries for FY 2019.
A copy of the implementing guidelines on the grant of PEI and YSAP may be accessed at our DBM website www.dbm.gov.ph. Should you require further clarification, you may enlist the assistance of our DBM Regional Office near your locality.
Thank you.
Respectfully yours,
Maria Lourdes T. Aganon
