April 12, 2023 Dear Jess Gonzales, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Apr 05, 2023 08:28:34 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. You asked for SOP Manual for ciguatoxin-related diseases. While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information/material you have requested. The National Poison Management and Control Center (NPMCC) of the UPM-PGH has no specific SOP/manual on Ciguatoxin-related diseases in the Philippines. As per the NPMCC Head, they advise or recommend management of Ciguatoxin-related diseases referred to them based on textbooks, recent journals, international agencies related to toxicology/toxinology (WHO, Poison centers, etc.), and the books published by the NPMCC. For further assistance you may review the FAQ section of the eFOI site: http://www.foi.gov.ph/help. If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Dr. Michael L. Tee at [email protected].
