Purpose: Data science project to help me calculate the Solo Parents' data analysis for 2019.
Date of Coverage: 01/01/2019 - 09/30/2019

Good day! May I request the list database of solo parents registered as of June 2019? You can blind the names with registration or account numbers, remove street/barangay address but please retain the city and the province, and remove any contact information. This will be used in my data science project to help me calculate the Solo Parents' data analysis for 2019. Thank you.
CORRECTION: May I request the list database of solo parents registered as of September 2019?
October 7, 2019 Dear Kathlyn, Thank you for your request dated Oct 06, 2019 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Solo Parents as of 2019. We received your request on Oct 06, 2019 and will respond on or before Oct 25, 2019 04:29:06 PM, in accordance with the Executive Order's implementing rules and regulations. Should you have any questions regarding your request, kindly contact me using the reply function on the eFOI portal at https://www.foi.gov.ph/requests/aglzfmVmb2ktcGhyHgsSB0NvbnRlbnQiEURTV0QtNjAzMDg1ODU5MjAzDA, for request with ticket number #DSWD-603085859203. 14 October 2019 Dear Ms. Kathlyn Cacho, You requested for information on the following: “List database of solo parents registered as of September 2019, blind the names with registration or account numbers, remove street/barangay address but please retain the city and the province, and remove any contact information”. Unfortunately, the DSWD does not have the information you need. Thus, we are constrained to deny your request. Under the Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act No. 8972 [Solo Parents Welfare Act of 2000], the registration and the issuance of the Solo Parents ID is the responsibility of the respective city/municipal social welfare development office where the solo parent resides. The C/M SWDO is not under the DSWD but it is under the jurisdiction of their respective local government units. Hence, any solo parent data is confined within each LGU and, thus, you may direct your request to each LGU in the country to arrive at a complete national database. Very Truly Yours, Atty.
