You requested information on the following: (1) List of beneficiaries in South Signal Village, Taguig City because most of the citizens of this barangay still haven’t received amelioration from DSWD.

Response to your request

Unfortunately, this is not a valid Freedom of Information (FOI) Request. Thus, we are constrained to deny your request.

However, you may contact the DSWD Social Amelioration Program Hotline Numbers at telephone  number 16545 or by cellular phones through calling 09474822864 (Smart), 09162471194 (Globe) or 09329333251 (Sun) or texting 09189122813 or by e-mail at [email protected] to inquire about your concerns and/or report irregularities about the Social Amelioration Program brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

As to the publication of names, the Department of Interior and Local Government has already ordered each barangay to publish the SAP beneficiaries. Thus, you could inquire at your barangay regarding this matter.

Further, pursuant to DSWD Memorandum Circular No. 9, series of 2020 entitled Omnibus Guidelines in the Implementation of the Emergency Subsidy Program of the Department of Social Welfare and Development available at https://www.dswd.gov.ph/issuances/MCs/MC_2020-009.pdf, the distribution of the SAP Emergency Subsidy program will be done by the LGU, thus, you could also inquire at your barangay regarding this matter.

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Secretary ROLANDO JOSELITO D. BAUTISTA at DSWD-Central Office, IBP Road Batasan Pambansa Complex, Constitution Hills, Quezon City.
