Your Request

You asked for Site Criteria for Recreational Camp and Retreat Facility.

Response to Request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have some of the information you have requested. To date, there is no one standard for recreational camp facilities, only tourism recreational centers under Secondary Tourism Enterprises. As such, the number of DOT-accredited tourism recreational centers covers recreational camp facilities as was previously relayed to you thru your request with FOI tracking: https://www.foi.gov.ph/requests/aglzfmVmb2ktcGhyHQsSB0NvbnRlbnQiEERPVC0yNDY1MzY5NTg1NDgM dated 22 November 2022. Additionally, the DOT has no jurisdiction over the area where the business will be established, how it will be developed, or its design. These criteria may be consulted with the local government unit where the structure will be established especially when the owner applies for a building permit.

Your right to request a review
