Good day! I'm currently working on my architectural thesis as an architecture student at DLSU-D that scope recreational camp facilities in the Philippines. I would like to request for information regarding: 1. Rules and Regulations for tourism recreational centers under Secondary Tourism Enterprises - Planning or Guidelines - Site Criteria Rest assured that information that will be given will be used for educational purposes. Hoping for your positive feedback. Thank you!
August 29, 2023 Dear Ms. Aberilla, Greetings! Thank you for your request dated August 26, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for Site Criteria for Recreational Camp and Retreat Facility. Response to your request While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have some of the information you have requested. To date, there is no one standard for recreational camp facilities, only tourism recreational centers under Secondary Tourism Enterprises. As such, the number of DOT-accredited tourism recreational centers covers recreational camp facilities as was previously relayed to you thru your request with FOI tracking: https://www.foi.gov.ph/requests/aglzfmVmb2ktcGhyHQsSB0NvbnRlbnQiEERPVC0yNDY1MzY5NTg1NDgM dated 22 November 2022. Your right to request a review If you are unhappy with our response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review by writing a letter or email addressed to Secretary Christina Garcia Frasco of the Department of Tourism and sending it through the email address: [email protected]. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with the response and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this response. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 working days from the date when we receive your request for review. If you are not satisfied with the result of the review, you then have the right to appeal to the Office of the President under Administrative Order No. 22 (s. 2011). Thank you. Respectfully yours, Maricel C. Malalad DOT FOI Receiving Officer
