I came across one youth under the care of our NGO, who after completing Grade 10 of JHS in 2018 decided to enroll in a 2-year technical vocational school (of a sort) since it offered him free schooling since he thought that his family would not be able to send him to school anymore. After our meeting, he got motivated to continue his SHS studies and eventually college. I was able to find him a private school in Manila that offers no top-up scholarship. However, it has been more that 2 years since he stopped. Can he still avail of it? If yes, how? He finished JHS in Sumilao, Bukidnon.

Hi! I would just like to follow-up on the status of my request. Also, I was able to speak with the school administrator, they believe that the youth can only avail of the SHS Voucher within two years of completing JHS. However, if they can be assured that the voucher can be availed even on the 3rd year, they can process the child's application.
