I want to verify how my parents claim their senior citizen pension since my father membership was 2014 and my mother was 2017. Ever since they didn’t receive any pension because as they told us that there is a basis who can receive. Honestly ma’am/sir, I am a former ofw but due to pandemic I lost job so I can’t support the needs of my parents. We talked to the president of senior citizen in our Brgy and also to the LGU, office of senior citizen but still the same reason that they have their basis but mostly had pension has a balikbayans to support them

Unfortunately, the DSWD does not have the information you need. Thus, we are constrained to deny your request.

It is the National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) that may have the data that you require. Hence, you may wish to direct your request to the NCSC. You may also contact them by telephone at (02) 8-931-81-01. 

Your right to request a review

If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to Secretary ROLANDO JOSELITO D. BAUTISTA at DSWD-Central Office, IBP Road Batasan Pambansa Complex, Constitution Hills, Quezon City. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter. We will complete the review and tell you the result within 30 calendar days from the date when we receive your review request.
