Purpose: Barangay Historical Records

seek the assistance and expertise of the National Historical Commission of the Philippines regarding the accurate foundation date of Barangay Palatiw, Pasig City. The purpose of this inquiry is to reconcile the discrepancy between the traditional foundation day celebrated on August 28th, coinciding with the feast of San Agustin, which we will not change and the notary by Fernando Riquel dated June 2, 1576, which suggests November 14 as the foundation day to be put in official barangay records.
