Dear Dency Topacio,
Greetings!
Thank you for your request dated Mar 26, 2021 07:00:30 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.
Your Request
You asked for SEC iView.
Response to Request
This refers to your query about the SEC i-View particularly on when it will be fixed and enable its online services and be able to be accessed by the public. Regarding the current status of the system, we are still waiting for the delivery of the new equipment that will replace the damaged one. Considering it is a new component to be integrated into the system, certain activities shall be done like installation, configuration, data migration, testing, and etc. We are not yet certain when it will be available for public access because of limited operations of our agency and the supplier, delivery of the equipment considering it will be sourced outside Philippines and certain restriction on movement due to quarantine measures and controls being imposed in response to pandemic. However, if conditions shall change and no more aberrations shall be encountered, we are tentatively targeting SEC i-View may be reactivated in the months of August or September within the year.
Thank you.
Respectfully,
Oliver V. Chato
