We are Industrial and Chemical Engineering students from UPLB, conducting a study on Water Quality Analysis of Sampaloc Lake in San Pablo City for our documentary project as a partial requirement for Chemical Engineering 180: Agro-Industrial Waste Management.
We would like to request data regarding:
1. Monthly pH, BOD, ThOD, COD, and suspended and dissolved solid levels
2. FOGs, and surfactants present
3. Monthly Nitrogen and Phosphorus Loadings
4. Recent events (e.g. algal bloom and fish kills)
5. Management and development plans

Good afternoon, the years covered by our request are from 2019 to 2023. Attached on this reply are the agreement for the standard agreement for the use of LLDA data as well as the letter of intent containing all signatories of the group and the faculty-in-charge. The attached files are also send through the LLDA email.

I refer to my letter of May 26, 2023 about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Sampaloc Lake Water Quality Data, San Pablo, Laguna. In particular, I had requested specific information for you to clarify upon in order for us to proceed with the request.
As we have not received a reply within the 60-day working period since the letter requesting for clarification was sent out, we regret to inform you that this request will be closed as of Aug 18, 2023.
You may wish to submit a new request describing the specific information you are looking for, and we will be able to consider it under the guidelines as stated in Executive Order No. 2.
Your right to request a review
If you are unhappy with this response to your FOI request, you may ask us to carry out an internal review of the response by writing to or visiting our central office. Your review request should explain why you are dissatisfied with this response, and should be made within 15 calendar days from the date when you received this letter.
