Title of Research: Hardin Calapeno: A proposed Agritecture Hub in Calapan, Oriental Mindoro
The Agritecture hub is a development that fuses Agriculture with Architecture. The proposed project aims to target four important sectors in the City of Calapan: Education, Tourism, Agriculture, and Business sector. The objectives of the project are to;
1.Increase the number of enrolees in the Agriculture programs currently offered in the Province by establishing a development that will encourage upcoming college students to take up Agriculture.
2. Establish an agriculture-centered tourism development to showcase the province's rich agricultural base, high-value crops, and sustainable farming methods.
3. To provide an establishment that will promote, empower, and appreciate the importance of farmers and fisher folks, and the Agriculture sector of the City and the Province of Oriental Mindoro.
The data requested on same-day and overnight tourist arrival in Calapan City from 2013-2023 will be averaged to determine the average growth rate. The average growth rate will be used to compute for the 10-year projection (2023- 2033) on tourist arrival for the proposed project.
